PickUP Landing Page & App Development

Project Overview
PickUP is a modern transportation platform with a mobile experience designed around scheduled rides, parent coordination, child safety, and driver management.
For this project, I designed and developed the PickUP landing page, creating a responsive digital experience that introduces the product, explains its functionality, and presents the mobile app in a clear and engaging way.
The landing page was built to support the product ahead of its upcoming launch on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The Challenge
A product with multiple user journeys can easily become difficult to explain on a marketing website.
PickUP has different experiences for parents, children, and drivers, so the landing page needed to communicate the product without forcing visitors to understand every detail of the underlying application.
The primary challenge was to create a website that could:
Communicate the product quickly
Showcase the mobile interface
Explain the core workflow
Establish trust
Work seamlessly across devices
Create a strong path toward the upcoming app launch
Design Direction
I focused on creating a clean, modern, mobile focused landing page where the product remains the main visual element.
Instead of filling the page with lengthy explanations, the layout uses a combination of concise messaging, application visuals, feature highlights, and structured content sections to gradually introduce the product.
The overall experience follows a simple progression:
Introduction → Features → Product Experience → How It Works → Trust → App Launch
This keeps the visitor focused while giving them enough context to understand the product.
Product Showcase
A major part of the landing page is the presentation of the actual application.
Rather than treating the website as a traditional corporate page, I designed it around the product interface.
App screens are used throughout the experience to demonstrate:
Parent ride management
Child ride information
Driver workflows
Ride scheduling
Pickup verification
Ride status
This helps visitors understand the product visually before interacting with the application.
Responsive Web Design
The landing page was designed as a fully responsive experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Special attention was given to mobile layouts because the website ultimately supports a mobile application.
The responsive system adapts:
Typography
Spacing
Application mockups
Navigation
Content sections
CTA placement
This ensures the product remains easy to explore regardless of the visitor's screen size.
Conversion Focused Structure
The website was structured around a clear conversion journey rather than simply presenting information.
Strategic calls to action are incorporated throughout the page to prepare users for the upcoming application launch.
The experience helps visitors move naturally from:
Discovering the product → Understanding its value → Exploring the interface → Preparing to download
This approach keeps the landing page focused on both product communication and user acquisition.
SEO & Website Foundation
Alongside the visual design and development, the website was structured with a strong foundation for search visibility.
The implementation included:
SEO friendly page structure
Optimized page content
Meta title and description setup
Search friendly URLs
Image optimization
Open Graph configuration

The structure also provides a foundation for future content and search engine growth as the product launches.

The Result
The final PickUP landing page gives the product a dedicated digital presence before its mobile application launch.
The website combines product storytelling, responsive web design, application showcases, and conversion focused UX into one cohesive experience.
The result is a landing page that does more than introduce the product. It gives visitors a visual understanding of how the platform works and creates a clear foundation for the upcoming app launch.
